2023, Magnetic Resonance ImagingCitation Excerpt :The custom reconstruction pipeline was embedded in a Matlab “gadget” for direct image reconstruction at the console. T1 values were obtained by placing ROI on the 16 segments of the left-ventricular (LV) myocardium, over the three slices base, mid and apex, defined by the American Heart Association [42]. In both AM-SMS3-T1 and WM-SMS3-T1, the presence of positive banding artefacts in the myocardium served to identify corrupted segments.
